Cash deposits at the Post Office return to pre-coronavirus levels

The amount of money paid into Post Office branches rose 27 per cent to £1.8bn, while withdrawals totalled £607m – up 13 per cent. Many shops stopped accepting cash for fear it could spread the virus.
